The philosophy of the Guidance and Counseling Program in Hamilton Township Schools, is to focus upon the individual student. All students are accepted individuals of worth, having unique educational, social and personal needs.
The emphasis of the guidance and counseling program is to maximize the potential of all students through a comprehensive developmental approach. The counselor words with all students within the educational framework of the school district.
The school counselor works to assist the students in becoming healthy and effective members of society. This is achieved through small and large group counseling sessions and additional individual counseling when appropriate.
